Virtuell Connected: Ein Rückblick auf die MEDICA 2020
A debut for the world’s leading trade show for health care and suppliers to the medical technology industry: Due to the pandemic, for the first time MEDICA took place completely virtually this November. An opportunity for digital presence, which was also used by the team of BAYOOSOFT. The central areas Conference Area (conference and forum program), Exhibition Space (company area and virtual booth) and Networking Plaza (matchmaking and networking) were new. These provided visitors and exhibitors with a form of virtual trade show experience.
Within the Conference Area, BAYOOSOFT hosted practice-oriented online sessions: Above all, the focus was on how to use digital tools to efficiently structure business processes. For example, Svenja Winkler (Director Management Solutions) demonstrated that tool-supported traceability can speed up the development of MP software in accordance with IEC 62304. And Franziska Weiß (Business Development Management Solutions) presented how transparent documentation of Clinical Evaluations can be optimized in accordance with MDR 2017/745.
Further demonstrations on the topic of medical software development were held in the virtual showroom of the Exhibition Space. This shifted the booth sessions into remote meetings and gave even more insights into our product portfolio, e.g. medical electrical equipment or versioning of technical documentation.
The Networking Plaza also featured this year’s matchmaking tool, an already established method of making new contacts at trade shows. As always, it was a pleasure to meet you.
